A good day

A productive morning followed this afternoon by another visit to Deeping Lakes, which was a great success, not least that I got a pano of a ‘body of water’ for today’s WidWed challenge.
 
We tested Mrs W’s mini velocipede to see if it could manage the paths and it made it all the way to the hide (and back) including a bit of off pathing at extras.
 
The other success was high marks for digiscoping.  Although not perfect by any means I’m very pleased with the shot of the cormorants nest with chicks and feeding adult also at extra.  This was on the island you can see in the pano, and some 130mtrs away from the hide.   It wasn't the sharpest of the shots, but is was good of the adult with it's beak open ready for the chicks.
 
The pano was a four frame stitch taken with the EOS R.
