It was a busy day, at the end of a busy week, in the middle of a very busy time for us (although I should be absolutely clear that the Minx is the busier, by far).

So when she suggested we go to the cinema, this evening, I really couldn't have been more up for it. A bite to eat, a large glass of red, and 'Doctor Strange In The Multiverse Of Madness'. I'd heard a couple of lukewarm reviews, but we both really enjoyed it.

Incidentally, today was the first day since September 1996 that I haven't had a child in school. Maybe that contributed to my feeling of fatigue :-)
