Western Tanager

A crazy day, always is when you get home from being away a few days.  When we arrived home last night, we had some strange problems, some lights worked and others did not work at all, some lights came on at low power as if on a dimmer.  Unfortunately the refrigerator/freezer was on low power.  We called the local power company and a private electrician.  The local power company was here until after 1:30 this morning.  Apparently when the pavers were put in the courtyard a power line was nicked and it takes awhile for it to corrode and open up.  The new coffee maker was a casualty of this for some reason, so no coffee this morning.  Off to the store early to restock the refrigerator/freezer.  I was happy to see that the tanagers are still hanging around when I took a walk this afternoon.  Off to a baby shower this evening.
