The Big Guns

Mr P and I decided to go inland today for a day trip to Xativa (pronounced Hatty ba). It’s a lovely town about an hour by train from Valencia. It’s famous for its very impressive castle which used to be a major fortress. Despite the baking heat, we climbed up to it. Exhausting but worth it for the amazing views and very welcome breeze. Late lunch in the town and then back to Valencia. Fit for nowt tonight!
