Full Day
I got a phone call this morning from the Cygnet.
He asked if he could come round and go to feed the ducks.
Seemingly it was his idea and Bags has no idea where it came from.
So off we went on a family trip to feed the ducks - although most of them were swans.
The Cygnet was quite happy to let the ducks come up and bite chunks of a slice of bread as he held it to his chest, but after being bitten before he backed off and asked his him not to let the swans eat him (poor child).
It was then off to play in the best kids park in West Lothian.
He was really disappointed when he found it closed while they changed some of the equipment.
So it was off to the swings at the other end of the loch again to have a go on the swings before heading off for drinks and cup cakes (via a town plaque which I had never seen before ......... I am not sure is the spelling is a mistake or not).
In the afternoon I headed off to have coffee with our friends who had been in Cyprus with us but who had stayed longer than us.
She had had a fall a couple of days before they came home. Although she survived I suspect that her camera will be deemed dead --- I have never heard a camera squeal before.
We also worked out where 4 of us are going to be staying on a trip to Harris later in the year.
As I was about to leave the couple I am going to shoot when they get married turned up and she had the opportunity to see some of the shots I got at No1 son's wedding.
She liked them I am glad to say but I think I have added to the pressure on me to get things right at hers.
