Greta
Whitstable Harbour is always a good bet for a blip. This evening was no exception. We’d been invited for lunch and a a chinwag with friends in Whitstable. Both were achieved with aplomb, several hind legs were talked off and the world put to rights before, during and after lunch.
After our visit we walked our regular route from Seasalter to Tankerton and back, passing through the harbour on both ways, returning along the old seawall which is now lined by many bijou cottages mostly second homes or holiday lets. Whitstable is very popular with Londoners.
Greta is a lovely old boat, based at Whitstable which offers cruises around the Thames Estuary during the summer months. The first cruises this year begin on Saturday.
Susan thoroughly enjoyed her birthday yesterday and was touched by all your good wishes and has asked me to pass on her thanks to you all.
We had some pyrotechnics last night with rain and thunder with some heavy rain for a short time this morning. The rain is very much needed
