Dragonfly nymph

I always check the pond first thing before going into work but today I was wishing i could stay at home. A dragonfly nymph emerged from the water clamped itself in place getting ready for the dragonfly inside to break free of the external shell - nature just blows me away. I've often seen the empty shells but never witnessed the event, today I could have done so if work wasn't beckoning
