The Road Bridge at Wetherby

Taken on Tuesday. I love the ducks sat on the edge.

Wetherby Bridge is a scheduled monument and Grade II-listed bridge over the River Wharfe in WetherbyWest Yorkshire, dating from the 13th century. You can see the weir through the arch. The bridge connects Micklethwaite on the south bank to the town centre on the north. It formerly carried the A1 Great North Road but now carries the A661 Boston Road leading to Boston Spa and the south.
The bridge has 13th-century origins.[3] It was rebuilt in the 17th century and widened twice, first in 1773 and in 1826 to a design by Bernard Hartley. The three original bridges are evident from the change in height of the arches.

Today has been another lovely day, Sunny and reasonably warm. We had a bit of shopping to do today and also had to go get a new door bell. We thought originally it was the bell push that had gone but it was the actual bell. We now have a remote one, we can take it up the garden with us if we really wanted to.lol

Just generally pottered after lunch, planted out some mimulus and moved the petunias outdoors to harden off. If they say there is going to be a frost I will cover them with fleece.
