Wooden dragonfly

The garden apart from being full of flowers is also home to many objet d’art! Just behind on the edge of the pond is a stone snake and above that a row of metal birds with long curved beaks. Once long ago they used to keep fish in the pond but a heron used to come and take them so they gave up! Then they had frogs and frog spawn but now that has gone too as they have nests which are voracious eaters of frog spawn and tadpoles I guess!

Today has been a good weather day with the rain due back again tomorrow!
