Watching the sunset

The hounds were taken for a hobble/ball pinching at Dixon Park in the morning, then taken to the vets just after lunch.  They needed their second jab of the Lepto vaccination plus Hamish has a callus on his elbow that he has been licking at and it needed attention.  It was barely time to get them home and feed them and then I was off for an early dinner and cards with friends.

I stopped at Lake Mac at Eleebana on my way to dinner (this is at quite a different Northerly location from where I was yesterday) and spotted this pelican watching the sunset.

A woman with her phone was taking some pics and we got talking, asyoudo.  It turns out she was a former police officer who had left her profession after developing a mental illness.  She said it had taken her ages to get her health back and finds that running every morning has helped her.  She posts her photos on an instagram account and from what I saw, they were very good.  Everyone has an interesting story to tell don't they and you never know who you may meet.
