Love-in-a-mist

In Dutch they're called 'Juffertje in het groen' which translates as ''Damsel in the greenery". Every day now there's a first in the garden, today it is the first Nigella open this year here. I wonder if the flower will be strong enough to resist the many rain showers this afternoon.

Thanks very much for  the many AbstractThursday entries and the kind comments and stars for yesterday's mysterious poppy petal macro crop. In the extra there's another shot of yesterday's  other mystery extra, these are decaying rhododendron flowers which were floating in the pond.
