Jedburgh Abbey

A beautiful sunny day

We travelled north via the A68, a stunning road through the Durham and Northumberland Dales, all the more beautiful because of the sunshine. It is definitely like being on a roller coaster ride.

We arrived in Jedburgh at lunchtime and after some food we visited the Abbey. Sadly, the main structure is crumbling a little and is closed for renovation work to be done.
