Day 1 of Rome & The Pantheon

On Tuesday we got up at a ridiculously early time and caught our cab to Heathrow where we had a nice breakfast before flying to Rome.

Oh the weather was divine - it was so so so hot and I loved it. I loved the feeling of the sunshine on my skin - it has felt like such a long long time.

On the first day we just walked and walked around and came across quite a few great sights. We wandered upon the Pantheon - this is taken inside with me looking up at the great big hole in the roof.

It is so hard to explain and get over the overwhelming size of these buildings and structures that continue to stand so proud and high shaping the city around it after almost 2000 years.
