Normal service resumed (kind of) with the Friday afternoon meeting.

Nice to get a blast of fresh air.

Last night there was an announcement that Raleigh International had gone into liquidation. Joe had worked in the local supermarket and saved over £3k which he’d recently given them so he could travel to Nepal with them and help rebuilding work for three months this summer. We booked his flights to Kathmandu last weekend. We should get the money for the flights back but his savings are seen as a charitable donation so that’s gone forever. Not the life lesson he was looking for. Hopefully we will see him this weekend and we can gauge how he’s doing.
