I love a lupin

Saved this one as a tiny plant from a friend’s terrace where it was an unwanted guest. Two years later, it’s a beautiful giant, and I have grown a new stock of lupins from last year’s seed. Planted some of them out today, and the dogs promptly went to sleep on them when I wasn’t looking. Ah well. Hopefully they will spring back. Such a hot day. The dog walks were spent mainly in mountain streams to keep the pups cool. Monsieur Baguette had to be told off for doing a 100km bike ride in 36 degree heat. Too hot!
