Hoovering

This hoverfly was hooverig up the pollen on a cuckoo flower (Cardamine pratensis)

It is commonly known as the Heineken hoverfly (Rhingia campestris), though more generally, it is the snout hoverfly.

Heineken used to advertise their beer by saying it could reach the parts other beers couldn't reach.  With it's long snout the Heineken hoverfly appeared to be able to reach the nectar which other hoverflies couldn't reach - hence the name.  Actually though, the snout is a rigid support for its proboscis which extends below and can be clearly seen in my blip.
