The Old Town and the Castle from North Bridge
Today was lovely and sunny in Edinburgh; warm enough to feel like the first day of spring - indeed it may be the first weekend this year that there isn't snow on the Pentlands - and the clear blue sky and still bright sunshine even at 7pm seemed like a good omen to start blipping.
This is a pretty classic tourist snapshot view of Edinburgh taken on my camera phone, but I love the sweep of the Old Town up to the commanding heights of the castle and, while a single photo can't really do it justice, I like the warmth that the evening sun gives to the manificent architecture, even if the definition of the castle suffers, and just love that deep blue sky.
