Mayfest

The sun's been shining all day so I nearly went butterfly hunting, but my hands and feet were being annoying so I caught the bus into town instead.  I'm glad I did, I had no idea the Winchester Mayfest was happening today.  It was, for sure, lovely to see the event back after all this time. 

This lovely girl, who I talked to briefly, was supporting a busker - not, I think, part of the Mayfest. In extras is one of the younger folk dancers, also an elderly lady who looked as though she was part of a wedding party that wandered up the High Street.  Such elegance ;))
