Playing with my food

I've had a busy day. The shelves are up and I've potted up 18 chilli seedlings; 6 of each. I've made a big pot of dahl and a pot of saag aloo and I've started my marking. Not bad given that I have a cold, earlier in the week I thought that it was fierce hay fever but it's morphed into a streaming cold, hence cooking spicy food that'll cut through. I was due to go to the pub with Etta and her drivers tomorrow to watch football but I've cried off, I don't want to infect anyone - I'll watch it here. The main image is cucumber for the salad, I wanted something cool to contrast with the chillies in the dahl.
