Osprey

After last year's absence, the osprey are back and in beautiful form.  This one was hunting in the morning and I think he went home with a frog  Usually I can identify what he catches but with no whiskers and no tail visible, it looked more like a round rock than a catfish.  I'm not willing to speculate if osprey hunt for rocks so I'm going with frog.  We have enough of them at night croaking away so that's my guess.  It's good to have the osprey back.  They are such amazing hunters.
