Family Transport

Saw this bike on the Village Green this afternoon. It was empty when we first saw it. Nearby a family was having ice cream together on the lawn. When they got up to go, the three kids piled in the carry box and their mom helped them put on helmets. Dad got on an peddled off carrying the kids. Mom walked away. Maybe she came by car.

I had breakfast with Whatcom Community College friends. We all meet once a month for breakfast.

In the evening we went to my brother Steve’s for dinner. His high school best friend, Peitsa, and his wife Regina and a friend were up from California for a three day etching class with Steve. Peitsa is one of my “ersatz” brothers. We are as close as sister and brother and have known each other forever.
