Local asparagus

Peak asparagus now, the pickers are going throughout the weekend and we’re starting to look for ‘interesting’ things to do with it!  

Very early start, woke up at 4am which left me feeling a bit rocky all day but managed to get a lot done mainly in the garden and went to bed having done 20,000 steps. 

Walked first thing with a neighbour and then bashed on with planting up pots and planting things out.  Beautiful weather from mid-morning onwards despite a mixed forecast.  

Mum set off for Dorset with friends.
