Kick Off

Another Cup Final for the Jambos! A 9:15 start for a 3pm kickoff, well obviously a couple of hours in Giffnock Bowling Club were needed to set the mood. Best, bacon rolls, Best, guys singing, mince pies, Best, singing, time to leave for Hampden, all of which meant the bus got parked up miles away from the ground and we managed to get to our seats about a minute before kickoff. Two hours of football later we’d managed 5 shots, none on target, Rangers had played us off the park and all the singing was from the other end of Hampden. Time to trudge back to the bus and wait forever for the one guy that got lost. There’s always one, what a numpty!
But we ended on a high with a curry in Rustom, at least me and DougM did because JacktheLad seems to have post-Covid taste disorder and suddenly doesn’t like curry. Now never mind the football, that’s a real disaster!
