City of Colour

We spent some time today delivering brochures around Parnell, so the extra shows three things that caught my eye - an interesting gate, a rainbow and a rather lovely Hibiscus.

This evening we went into the city with a friend who wanted to see the City of Colour light installations, but didn’t want to wander around by herself.  It was the last day of the “event” and some of the installations had already been dismantled, which we thought was rather bad.  We saw lots of lovely lights, some of which we weren’t sure were part of the event or not, but we enjoyed our wander and the main blip shows a sample of the lights.

There are 4,990 new community cases today, and the seven-day rolling average is 7,863 compared to 7,608 last Sunday. The number of people in hospital is 379, including 9 in ICU. Another 10 deaths have been reported, bringing the total number of deaths to 1,055 and the seven-day rolling average to 12.
