Fewston Parish Church of St Michael & St Lawrence

Perched on the slopes above Fewston and Swinsty reservoirs in the Washburn Valley sits this lovely old church.
The majority of the building was constructed in 1697, although the tower dates from the 14th century.
It is in a lovely setting, and I like how the cemetery is left to nature without becoming overgrown. 
Adjacent to the church is the Washburn Heritage Centre which has an excellent tea shop.
