Field Of Poppies

We left the house at 6:00am this morning to visit the woods in the early morning light. Jak was more than happy with that plan and bounced around in ecstasy. Maybe we should rename him Tigger. 

The light was truly glorious, throwing sudden beams like a spotlight on the wild flowers and picking out early morning insects. I had so much material to work with and the hardest part was choosing a favourite.

Before we even reached the woods, we came across the poppies on the farmland amongst the tall green crops. They were a wonderful sight.
