Emergency blip

Just realised I hadn’t taken a picture today so here Is a blip of the bag on the door of the bedroom which acts like a bin for those things that are going in the rubbish. It is a very pretty bag for the purpose and nicer than a bin!

Had a frocked up service for the Lord Mayor today and we had to sing an anthem, Mozart, ave verum which we know well thankfully! Then it was home to take Jake for a walk and get the lunch on as I had visitors today . Friends Pennie and Tim and their 11 month old bouncy retriever truffle! Jake got a bit tetchy on occasions and we ate on the patio as it was easier to keep Truffle in hand there. She did go in the pond and drank lots of weed! I had made shepherds pie with a combination of a spaghetti Bol sauce and a beef stew and it fortunately tasted good! For after we ha md rhubarb from the garden cooked with orange and lemon juice with ginger in syrup! All in all a good meal followed by a walk in the woods and home for tea and mini shortbreads! A lovely sunny warm day
