Bailey's Himalayan blue poppy

We hunted our Sunday scone at the Botanic gardens; not available from the East gate or the Inverleith cafes, but the West gate had lots. I like mine with butter (no jam), my husband likes his with jam (and no butter) .. 

Some plant watching, some people watching. The rhododendrons were out in force. There was a splendid bed of these blue poppies, Meconopsis baileyi.
