Windross at Cockle Bay

We went out exploring today, just a drive about different areas in case there was any we thought we may prefer to the Whangaparoa Peninsula....we didn't see any but this little place called Cockle bay came closest. It is a fine dining restaurant right on the waterfront.

Coming home the much warned about storm began with torrential rain and thunder.

I have my camera and tripod set up in case theres a nice lightning storm coming along.
