MonoMonday: The Wind in the Willows

 "He gets lost in the woods, succumbs to fright, and hides among the sheltering roots of a tree."
Not having read the book I had to rely FrankS's link to a summary of the story to come up with anything for MM today.
It's not easy doing "Wind in the Willows in Australia". Willows are flora non grata here and we don't have moles or badgers. There are pretty mean cane toads in Queensland which would have been handy but fortunately none here and I'm equally happy not to have a rat available.
