No photos taken today but No.1 sent this on day three of her cycle ride. She made it to Bristol and back to London again (by train). Today no.2 came to play golf with OH. OH did a bit of shopping for MIL first thing then brought her back for an impromptu bacon sandwich In the garden (although she told me she had already made herself a bacon sandwich for her breakfast). It was a quick visit as OH dropped her back home on their way to golf. I took advantage of the peace, sunshine and solitude and spent the day in the garden. Weeding, planting out the geraniums, weed killing, spraying roses. I did manage to sit down and read my book for ten minutes before cooking dinner. Then it was football and the Grand Prix…. Alright for some!
