Seldom flowers

This tree is covered in creamy flowers and I am fairly sure that I have not seen it do that before. According to my googling it seldom flowers so I may be right. I wonder what has been different about the conditions this year that has made it flower. It certainly looks lovely. It'll be a bit damp this evening as the rain has set in and is due to last through tomorrow. 

My Monday has been spent mainly teaching and trying to redirect folk, particularly of the teenage variety. It went quickly so I am hoping for something similar on the remaining four days of Term 5.
