Back home

… and an early morning walk rewards us with another sighting of Mrs Goosander and the babes, she stands sentinel while her growing brood huddle together, we see the mandarins and even fleetingly the kingfishers blue flash. But I was taken today by this orange tip  butterfly in the garden, posing beautifully whilst I played with the macro, so it’s my blip for today
