Happy vans

Memories of ice-creams, the seaside and fun from my Cornish childhood days. There is a warehouse near by that repairs or does something to these vans, often I hear the melody tunes playing and when I first heard them I thought my luck was in re getting regular ice-cream in a city centre, but nay not so, though probably just as well!
Are they are becoming a thing of the past... has anyone heard them 'these days'?
