Oh no, not another heron!

I dropped a friend off at one of the local hospitals for a test and went for a wee walk whilst waiting.  I was standing on a deck looking out onto the pond when this large heron flew in and landed a few metres away, it looked at me and every now and again would move a bit closer.  I turned to get a better photo and when l turned back he was standing right next to me - l was obviously in his spot!  I looked at that big beak, took my photo and left him to it!
