Oh joy!

Le washing machine et arrive  :)

After several frustrating phone calls to different distribution centres it sounded like we'd be very lucky to get it before next week. 
As the knicker situation was reaching crisis point I filled the washing basket,  popped it in the boot of the car, and drove to the Yacht Centre laundry room,  hoping that 2 x £1 coins would be enough for a wash. As I got out the car my phone rang,  and it was a delivery driver asking for directions to the house.  He got there just before me. 
And Captainbob had just arrived back unexpectedly to pick something up.  So the stars aligned for me.

The (almost silent) new machine is currently running a drum cleaning cycle. 

This makes me very happy  :)
