The White Peaks
Hannah and I carried on our activity today with a hike around the Peak district countryside. We started in Eyam, a village famed for being hit by the Plague and cutting themselves off from the rest of the country to avoid spreading the disease. A little more cheery was out gorgeous walk around the hills, moor and rivers of the Peaks. The March snow was really heavy here still and in some places, drifted up to the height of gates and walls. Difficult to clamber over, but a great day out and good bit of exercise.
