Bank House, Peebles

Clare and I visited the new John Buchan Story museum in Peebles this morning. Small but rich in interest.

John Buchan's family lived in Peebles for several generations. Although he didn't live here himself, John frequently visited his uncle, mother, sister and brothers at Bank House which is still a major landmark in the town.
