"You're on a need to know basis."
As I stated in a previous blip, Larissa is a girl and therefore not allowed to touch the remote control for the telly. Because of this, effortlessly switching between TV, DVD, Playstation and Wii is something that only Husband can do (using his gifts of logic and technical prowess) which caused a bit of a problem for Wife yesterday when attempting to demonstrate the full-working-order nature of our spare television and digital versatile disc player to a prospective buyer (ahead of our move to Egypt) all on her own.
In a rather disturbing turn of events however, Larissa actually managed to work out how to switch from TV to DVD by using "the buttons on the side of the telly". What's the world coming to when girls can do such complex things? With any luck it was just a fluke and she'll forget the complicated series of button presses required to complete such an intricate task, lest my usefulness as a husband be put under any unnecessary pressure.
