Cygnets

I went back to Blackford Pond today after my nature walk in Inch Park, and found that the swan family was back on the nest, having a snooze, rather than on the island where they were yesterday. I watched them for a while and then one of the cygnets made for the water and that was the signal for the rest of the family to follow. It was sunny most of the time which made photographing the adult swans difficult as they shine so bright in the sun. Anyway, here they all are, Mum (on the left), Dad and seven cygnets, hope they will all do well.
