Showing the colours
It was supposed to be a wet afternoon according to the weather forecast, but we managed a short late afternoon walk along the clifftop at Weybourne without seeing any hint of rain. This flag always intrigues me slightly; I wonder if it is flown by someone who was 'there' in the 60's or by a later generation. They always say that if you remember the 60's, you weren't really there.
In other news, everything is loud. Who knew birds were that vocal? The dogs next door? Barking. The water feature in the garden? Hang on while I go to the loo. I've had a slow loss of hearing over the last year and knew something had to be done about it. It involved adding drops to each ear which means that for the last week I've been deaf as a post; I've even had to resort to watching TV on the computer wearing headphones over the last few evenings. Today the man visited with his mini vacuum cleaner and it's amazing; everyone is shouting! Can you keep the noise down please.....
