Sightings today: A complete crèche of starlings, great tits , blue tits, pigeons, a dunnock, robin, magpie and Mrs Blackbird. There were also occasional sightings of a mad dog and ball, flying past in a blur. What a great view from my desk,

Jak Attack stole my wool. I was knitting a few rounds at lunch time and lay the work down on the sofa. Out of the corner of my eye I saw it walking away across the floor. How could this be? Then I realised that the monster had grabbed the ball from under my nose and was wandering off with it, trailing the rest behind him.
