Early birthday meal.

One of my Tuesday ladies has a birthday on Thursday so we all went to her local pub for our meal today.  These are the chunkiest 'chips' I have ever seen and confess I couldn't manage all of them.  I never cook a steak for myself so it is a treat when out.  Needless to say I will not be eating for the rest of the day!
I had bought her a cake as a surprise, so after she had blown the candles out we took it back to her house to have with a cup of tea (a small slice)
