Coming or Going?

Despite a dodgy weather forecast today, we decided to brave it and go to Southwold. It was a good decision, as apart from a very light shower in the morning, it was a fine day. We started with a walk along the beach, then morning coffee on the pier. After that we had a wander round the shops and then a lovely lunch at Adnam's café. In the afternoon, we walked across the Town Marshes, then along the harbour where I spotted this sign. On one side was a local map to help the visitor with orientation, but someone has put this on the back to remind us of our place in the galaxy. A bit Douglas Adams, I thought! After buying some fish for tea at one of the fish huts on the harbour, we walked back to the car along the final stretch of the Sandlings Walk - a glorious 60 mile long distance walk which I completed quite a few years now. Happy memories!
In extras are some of the fishermen's huts along the Sole Bay shore, I love the black huts and their brightly coloured doors!
