London

A day trip to London.

I caught the Underground to Green Park and wandered through the park to Buckingham Palace, it was all fenced off in preparation for the jubilee celebrations.

Listened to the military band at Wellington Barracks practising for the upcoming celebrations. Then onto Piccadilly, Fortnum and Mason for some lemon biscuits. Lunch at Cafe Concerto, listened to two old friends meeting up to go to the theatre later on.

Embankment station next and a walk over the Golden Jubilee Bridge, past the London Eye and onto the Houses of Parliament and Big Ben.

A wander around Covent Garden and a cuppa and cake stop at Paul. Bond Street and Oxford Circus before the final tube to St Pancras.

A crowded train home, the only downer in an otherwise lovely day.

An unbelievable 23775 steps.
