Watercolor Poppies

Straight out of the camera, I loved how these dying poppies looked like a watercolor painting. I got out at sunrise today for my walk because it's going to be hot, and I want to make the most of our last full day before heading home tomorrow. I am grateful to be able to spend this beautiful day lingering over coffee on the deck and browsing through the vendors at the local street fair where I stock up on plump raisins and fabulous medjool dates. Ending the day sipping cocktails at our favorite rooftop bar will make it a perfect last day.
