cheese blanket
A fun thing to do with your burrito is to cook it in a cheese poblano blanket. I need to practice that some more, it is delicious. Basically you just lay the peppers down in a line, put a bunch of cheese on top, put your burrito on top, and then see if you can wait long enough for the cheese to fry. If you can, then you just roll the burrito and you have a crispy blanket with some spicy peppers surrounding your burrito. If you can't, then you still get some cheese with some spicy peppers surrounding your burrito, it just isn't as crispy and beautiful.
I got to see my favorite model again tonight. Her grandmother arrived the day before she was born, two years and seven months ago. She basically has left her husband for her grandchild. She hasn't driven in so long that her son-in-law is demonstrating that he is the best son-in-law by teaching her how to drive again and getting her comfortable in their SUV.
We are having lots of wonderful rain which frees me from watering and frees me from the stress of worrying if I'm watering enough.
The Czech Republic is the first NATO member to give Ukraine attack helicopters.
Denmark has promised to send harpoon anti-ship missiles and a launcher. The harpoons require GPS coordinates but NATO can provide that as we did with the Moskva. This may force Russian ships to stay away from the coastline which might make it possible for Ukraine to ship wheat.
Russia should be able to electronically jam Ukrainian drones, especially as so many of them are just commercial drones, not military drones. Instead, it is Russian military drones that are falling out of the sky. Russia has lost at least eight jamming systems. They also may not be as good as they've been advertised as being. Meanwhile, the US is supplying electronic warfare equipment to Ukraine which may include portable jammers that look like ray guns.
There was an article a week or so ago about four therapists who were in Bucha. They coordinated to make sure someone was always in town. Ukraine's First Lady announced the setting up of a national mental health program.
Remember that Ukraine was going to issue a stamp commemorating the telling the Moskva to do itself? They were issued last month. Now they have been reissued but with a twist. It used to be the set of six stamps were of a Ukrainian service member making a hand gesture at a Russian warship. Now, three of them are of that, and in three of them the warship is no longer there. This commemorates the sinking of the Moskva. The stamps say, "Russian warship - done!" There were long lines of people waiting at post offices. These will be sold internationally. I don't know the URL but I'm sure it would make a great gift, especially for children.
