Pretty in pink

Not many days ago there was little colour in the garden, but now in the warm sunshine everything is bursting with life. These tiny pink double primulas are a particular pleasure every year and last for several weeks.

I've been gardening today, tackling the weeds that are also flourishing. The rose bed will look different this year as I never did get around to pruning them. It will be interesting to see how they fare. I somehow think they will be better!
