Pride

I have long wanted to do a series on burly Xhosa fathers proudly carrying their tiny tot, the kind you see on a Saturday morning when the entire community is out shopping and keen to show off all members of the family. This dad, who has just kissed his daughter smack on the side of the head, is neither burly nor Xhosa, but the pride and delight in his child is the shared element. I wish I had asked for his name.
