Ruffitt Roadworks

The quest to fit the whole of Lincoln with 5G WiFi cables continues. They arrived outside our house around 7:30 AM and set up their Support Station van on the path straight outside our window. This is where they can have a tea break, use the loo, wash and shelter from hail and thunder. I know they need to put it somewhere, but the car-park may have been a better option.

Behind it was a trailer with a mini digger on. In the process of taking it off the trailer the digging arm was damaged, causing an oily liquid to hose all over the pavement, road and next door's window and wheelie bin. Chaos followed, along with much shouting, accusations and orders. Something had to be done in case someone slipped on it and sued! So someone was despatched to get some sand. Next door's bin and window are still a mess.

After this I went to my Dad's having dropped the post for Serco in at the Post Office, recorded delivery! Let's see what happens now.

My Dad was OK. He can't believe Boris got away virtually scot free, nor how brazen he is being about it. He reckons that even if he is telling the truth he should resign anyway for being so obtuse (Not his word, it was much more "choice") as to not know what was going on, proving he is not fit to do his job!

The workmen have gone home now. Our section of road is still cordoned off and covered in slimy sand. It's not the end of the world I suppose and has provided me with a Blip. Also our WiFi may be better and there will be no more "Buffer-Vision" when we try to stream a movie!
